Baumann Maschinenbau Solms belongs to the Baumann Group, which was founded in 1930. The Baumann group is an international family-owned company, based in Hesse, Germany. The Baumann Group is one of the world’s largest distributors of machines, systems and consumables for the graphic industry and is considered one of the market leaders in Germany. Headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, the group of companies with around 300 employees has additional trade centers for sales and service.
The history of Baumann Maschinenbau Solms began in the early 1960s, when Baumann completed the product range with self-developed joggers, pile lifts, pile turners and air tables. Due to the high demand for customized solutions and quality “Made in Germany”, an independent company was founded in 1978: Maschinenbau Solms – today called Baumann Maschinenbau Solms GmbH & Co. KG (BMS).
Today, the company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of cutting systems and automated systems for the graphic industry, distributed under the baumannperfecta.
The range of products not only covers complete cutting systems for printers, bookbinders, and paper mills, but also special solutions – adapted to the specific needs of each customer. Together with our customers we develop and produce solutions oriented to the practice and the latest technologies, giving great importance to ease of use, longevity and, in addition, to the careful treatment of resources.
